Dr Finola kennedy
Dr Finola Kennedy: Dr Finola Kennedy is an economist, a lecturer at University College, writer, wife and mother of six children. In her biography, "Frank Duff: A Life Story", published June, 2011, Kennedy provides a well rounded portrait, describing the compassion and originality of Duff's charitable outreach. Kennedy writes that she was asked to undertake the biography by the Postulator of Duff's Cause, Fr Bede McGregor O.P. Her book tells the story of a man, inspired by the writings of St Louis Marie de Monfort, to realize the role of Our Lady in salvation history and the profoundly important part that lay people can play under her banner.
Fr Francis G Lendacky: Fr Francis Lendackey has been a priest for 45 years, ordained for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in May 1961. He was assistant pastor in parishes until 1978 when he was assigned pastor of St. John Nepomucene parish and administrator of St Agnes parish, both Churches for Catholics of Slovak descent. Father's Legion of Mary history began in the summer of 1960 when as a seminarian, he attended his first Praesidium meetings. Upon ordination, his official Legion membership began as he subsequently became Praesidium Spiritual Director in the various parishes to which he was assigned. He became Spiritual Director of a Junior Curia and remained in that post for 25 years, moving on to a Senior Curia directorship, and eventually to the Philadelphia Senatus, where he was appointed assistant to the late Msgr. Thomas B. Falls. He has been Spiritual Director of the Senatus since 1998 and is also currently Spiritual Director of two non-parochial Praesidia. His Legion experience also includes several Peregrinatio Pro Christo evangelization projects and he has made himself available for several weekend retreats for Legionaries. He is the author of "Insights of a Legion of Mary Priest". Fr Lendacky went home June 6, 2016.
